| North opens 1S and E will probably double and if South bids 2S the E/W conversation will continue and the minor fit found. But what if instead South has bid 4S? This puts West under tremendous pressure with only 7HCP does he introduce his suit at the five level. This is unlikely leaving N to make 4S sometimes with an overtrick.
